A05. As an authorised representative, how do I upload multiple NMIs to my portal account?

A National Metering Identifier (NMI) is a unique number which identifies the electricity supply point at your property. Your NMI can be found on your account from your electricity provider. When Adding Multiple NMIs, myEnergy provides a bulk NMI upload template.  After downloading the template to your computer, this template can be populated in your own time, which can then be uploaded back in to myEnergy when ready.

Upon upload, the portal will validate the data and guide you through making any necessary changes before submitting the NMIs to your portal account.

If the upload of a particular NMI fails with the following comment, 'a technical issue occurred while adding your NMI', then please verify the NMI number. The one you have provided is not recognized by our system.
